Facilitation Center
Tthe Facilitation Center is an internationally
recognized management training and leadership development consulting
firm. Our facilitation processes work with small or large groups
and are customized to meet your needs. Both facilitation training
and our workshops are available on or off site.
Workshops
Using best practices from leadership development, teambuilding,
and strength-based approaches, the Facilitation Center offers
education and training for at risk youth, their families and service
providers. Available on request, the 30 hour “FLAME”
program can be offered to groups or individuals. One-on-one coaching
is also available on an hourly rate.
Facilitation Training
Managing dialogue and group processes can be a challenging task
in our diverse and complex work environments. Facilitation skills
provide the means by which leaders and managers can produce high
performance results from teams and decision groups. This 3 level
certification series is designed specifically for mid to upper
management and management consultants.
Strategic Planning
Manage time and resources towards meeting your outcomes. Strategic
planning workshops offered by the Facilitation Center provide
a proven process for effective strategic planning that accelerates
outcomes achievement. The process focuses on structured dialogue,
inclusion, consensus-building and decision-making which are useful
for creating visions, performance objectives or outcomes, policy
formulation, and action planning.
Custom Designs
An international consulting firm, the Facilitation Center custom
designs all of its in-house training programs, workshops, and
process facilitations to meet the specific needs in outcomes,
timeframes, scheduling challenges, and unique characteristics
of each organization. Our professionals are committed to meeting
the needs of the organization and individuals rather than marketing
a specified approach. In business since 1993, we have served clients
at the local, state, regional, national, and international levels;

Directions
From the North
From I-87 take exit 23, turning right at the light into Warrensburg.
Travel north on 9N through the village to the traffic light intersection
with Rte. 418. Turn left on Rte. 418, take the first right after
crossing the bridge. Follow Rte. 418 along the river for 12 miles
to the main intersection in Stony Creek. Go through the intersection
and follow Roaring Branch Road for 3 miles. The Retreat Center
is on the left side of the road.
From the South
From I-87 take exit 21, turning left onto Rte. 9N. Travel approximately
10 miles to the village of Lake Luzerne. Just past the Central
School take a right into the business district, bearing left at
the bottom of the hill. Turn right at Stone’s Pharmacy and
cross the Hudson River. At the first intersection take a right
toward Stony Creek. Travel 12 miles to main intersection in the
center of Stony Creek. Turn left onto Roaring Branch Road and
travel 3 miles to the Retreat Center. Number 15 on the map below.
